Buffy Curtis, LCAT-ATR (licensed creative art therapist and registered art therapist) is licensed within New York State, and registered nationally with the American Art Therapy Credentialing Board. She is trained in EMDR, currently pursuing certification in psychedelic assisted therapy through the Vital program at Psychedelics Today, and pending board certification with the American Art Therapy Credentialing Board. Buffy has been providing support for others in the community since 2007. She is an ordained minister with the Universal Life Church and a Reiki Master. Buffy has worked with individuals in all areas of the lifespan for a variety of needs and finds her most passionate work in connecting with and supporting women through the unique experiences they encounter throughout their lives. Buffy also has a deep passion for working with those with traumatic or neglectful experiences in their lives to help them welcome in the power of connection and support within a community of choice. In addition to creative tools, Buffy is versed in practices of mindfulness, somatic awareness and spiritual exploration. Buffy believes our healing comes from the unification of mind (intellect and emotion), body (physical and energetic) and spirit to achieve greater balance and fulfillment in our lives.
